Support
Do I need an account to use Ice Cream Fund?
No sign-up. Funds live on your device from the moment you create them. Turning on sharing for a fund uses your existing Apple ID through iCloud — there's no separate Ice Cream Fund registration, ever.
How does the pocket money schedule work?
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule once and it runs itself from the start date you choose. An optional reminder can nudge you if you'd rather add it by hand instead.
Can two parents manage the same fund?
Yes — share a fund and the other parent can view the balance, add money, and record withdrawals right alongside you, synced privately through iCloud.
What's the difference between Read & Write and Read-Only sharing?
Read & Write lets the person you invite add money, take money out, and edit the fund, just like you. Read-Only lets them see the balance and activity but not make changes — good for a grandparent who wants to watch a fund grow without being able to edit it. You choose the level when you invite someone, and can change it anytime.
What happens if I stop sharing a fund?
The person you removed loses access immediately. Your data and history stay exactly as they were.
Is my family's data private?
Yes. Ice Cream Fund has no servers of its own — your data stays on-device, and syncing happens entirely through your private iCloud account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What do I need to run it?
iOS 18 or later.
I found a bug or have a feature request — who do I tell?
Email — real emails, read by the person who builds it.
Still stuck? Email .
